When Joseph Carpenter started his delivery service in 1929 with a single canvas back truck times were tough. Running the business from his house, and personally making deliveries between Burlington and Middlebury, Vermont; with hard work, a strong dedication to customer service, and the sense of a job well done, Joseph gradually created the current fleet of more than 30 Tractor Trailers and Straight Trucks that Carpenters offers today!
